Program note:
As a continuation from SCRITTO x1, this piece explores certain perceptual categories. The score is contains of traditional notation, graphical elements and texts which means that parts of the work are improvised, but in a very controlled manner. It was a experiment for me to see how much and what kind of information that must be given, how this information is de-coded and in the end, what kind of result does it generate.
The ensemble part of SCRITTO x2 was composed in close collaboration with the Bit20 ensemble from Bergen, Norway.
