Announcing

Henrik Denerin, Composer (*October 15th 1978 in Tanumshede, near Gothenburg, Sweden)

After studies at Malmö Academy of Music his teachers include prof. Luca Francesconi, Prof. Rolf Martinsson, Kent Olofsson among others and guest teachers such as Tristan Murail and Per Nørgård. He has also studied for Polar Prize winner Karlheinz Stockhausen at his annual composition courses and participated at the cources in Donaueschingen 2006.

In Mars - April, 2006 H. Denerin made a tour in Southern Australia with the clarinettist Karen Heath were they performed his 21 minute long work Stadium for clarinet and tape at 5 concerts
His work Yin for orchestra was awarded "best new work" 2006 by the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra.

To date (2006) H. Denerin has composed some 25 works.
He is currently working and living in Berlin, but will in the end of 2007 and the first half year of 2008 travel and live mainly in China, but also in the USA, Australia, Japan and Vietnam.
